How Private Corporations Can Conduct Their Research and Innovation Activities Responsibly
The European Project Responsible-Industry on Responsible Research and Innovation in Business and Industry was launched in Brussels on Feb 4-5, 2014
On February 4-5, the kick-off meeting of the EU-funded project Responsible-Industry took place in Brussels. The project explores how private corporations can conduct their research and innovation activities responsibly, focussing on the application of information and communication technologies to the grand challenge of health, demographic change and wellbeing.
Responsible-Industry, concluding in June 2017, is coordinated by Prof. B. Stahl from De Montfort University, Leicester (UK). The project consortium comprises nine partners from seven European countries, namely De Montfort University (Leader, United Kingdom), Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (Germany), UCLan Cyprus Limited (Cyprus), Fundación TECNALIA Research & Innovation (Spain), Universiteit Twente (The Netherlands), Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca Industriale – AIRI (Italy), Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen Nürnberg (Germany), Euclid Network (United Kingdom), and Teknologian Tutkimuskeskus VTT (Finland).
