De Montfort University’s Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility (CCSR; www.dmu.ac.uk/ccsr) is offering the position of an IT Support Officer to work across two projects: the EPSRC-funded Observatory for Responsible Research and Innovation in ICT and the EU-funded PREFET project. You will be employed on a full time temporary contract for a period of up to 31 January 2020.
You will be expected to contribute to the ORBIT and PREFET projects and organisation including their suite of hosted website. You will develop the websites and provide timely support and administrative duties, including minimisation of down time. You will take responsibility for assigned subject
areas, prioritising and dealing with work to ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to ORBIT and PREFET. This includes giving advice and guidance to consortium partners and external users.
You are required to have experience of providing professional skills as described in the job description. You should be able to prioritise and organise
our work load with minimal supervision, have a high level of accuaracy and strong attention to detail.
