Proposal Review

Complying with principles and practices of RRI is an increasingly a requirement of research funders, such as the European Commission or the UK Engineering and Physical Science Research Council. In order to help applicants plan their research and innovation activities appropriately, ORBIT offers a proposal review and checking service.

ORBIT treats all proposals sent to its team in strictest confidence. Upon receipt of a proposal the ORBIT team will check the following

  • Integration of the principles of the AREA-plus framework into the project (focus for UK proposal)
  • Compliance with the EU’s 6 keys of RRI
  • Integration of RRI into research process and governance

The deliverable of the proposal review service is a report on RRI in the proposal as well as practical recommendations for further integration.

Proposal review will normally require five working days. If a quicker turnaround is required, this is reflected in the price of the service.

Please note, all fields must be filled out in order to submit a request.

  • Your e-mail address is kept confidential and is only used to communicate with you about your proposal review.
  • Again this is kept absolutely confidential and is only used should we need to speak with you regarding your proposal review.
