ORBIT Open Practitioner Training

ORBIT is organising an open Practitioner course at De Montfort University, Leicester in the new year.
The course will run from the 13th to the 15th of January 2020.
The ORBIT Practitioner course is a three-day course given by an ORBIT-accredited trainer. It does not assume any prior knowledge of RRI. This course is aimed at researchers who are involved in small-to-medium sized ICT projects. The course will familiarise participants with the foundational principles of RRI and provide detailed analysis of the AREA (Anticipate, Reflect, Engage, Act) Framework. Participants will be given in-depth training on the RRI Intensity Level, a novel method to put RRI into practice within research projects. Examples of real-life RRI applications will be provided along with interactive exercises to facilitate learning. At the end of the three-day course, delegates will be certified as Practitioners in RRI for a period of three years.
The cost for the course is £2,000 per participant.
Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered, while lunch and coffee will be provided on each day. There is a minimum of five delegates and a maximum of ten for every workshop.
